Ingredients

  • 1½cups Arborio or Carnaroli rice
  • 2cups whole milk
  • 1cup heavy cream
  • 1cup water
  • ½cup granulated sugar
  • 2teaspoons ground cinnamon 1½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ¼teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2pinches ground nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Put rice, milk, cream, water, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, salt and nutmeg into the cooking pot of the Cuisinart®Pressure Cooker.
  2. Secure the lid and select Low Pressure.Set the time for 15 minutes. When the audible beep sounds, use Quick Pressure Release.
  3. Once the pressure releases completely, the red indicator will drop.
  4. Remove lid and stir. Serve warm.
