Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • ⅓ cup light corn syrup
  • ⅓ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder, sifted
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped or chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Insert the Stirring Paddle. Add ⅔ cup heavy cream, ⅓ cup each light corn syrup and packed light brown sugar, ¼ cup sifted cocoa powder, ¼ teaspoon kosher salt, 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  2. Secure the Cooking Lid with the Steam Cap in place. The cooking time is set to 10 minutes at 250°F on Speed 4.
